A Facelift and a Big Birthday!

This year is a big Birthday for Scoo-B-Doo Charity. We will be turning 40!!

The Scoo-B-Doo Charity was founded by a group of grateful parents and staff in 1983. In 2023 the charity will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary, and we would like you to get involved by helping us to mark this amazing milestone.

We have several exciting events that are currently in the planning stages, and we will be looking for volunteers to help and support us. Whether you are an individual, or a business you can get involved in all the events or even organise your own 40th fundraising event! Watch this space for updates on what we are planning!

As this is our 40th Year we are looking for 40 businesses to get involved in the celebrations. For a minimum donation of £40 (you could even donate £400 or £4000!) we are offering full exposure on all our social media channels of your logo and a profile of your business.  Not only is this great awareness for your business, but all for charity! Your donation will go towards buying vital life-saving equipment to give premature and sick babies the best start in life in Gloucestershire.

As with all Big Birthdays we want to look our very best so this is the perfect time to show off our shiny new website that has been redesigned and updated by the team at local website company Lucid Websites

Within the new website we have a shop facility where you can purchase a copy of the Scoo-B-Doo Jubilee Charity Cookbook. This was created to celebrate the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee while raising money for the Scoo-B-Doo Charity . You can also download a digital version of the cookbook too.

We have a new section Support for You which features information about our neonatal support groups HOPE and SHED, who are a lifeline of support to all our parents that are currently or have previously been on the unit. There is also support if you experience baby loss from a fantastic charity called Aching Arms UK.

Things that we will be adding to our new website are a Corporate Media Pack which will be uploaded soon.

If you would like to find out more about the Scoo-B-Doo charity and how you can get involved then please contact the team at team@scoo-b-doo.info or  sarah.edgeworth@scoo-b-doo.info
